How it works
A platform that rocks, and a body that responds.
The idea behind whole body vibration is simple. Here’s what the platform does, and how speed, amplitude, time and movement shape your session.

The motion
Like a see-saw, several times a second.
LifetimeVibe uses an oscillating platform. As one side rises, the other drops, between 3.4 and 15.5 times per second depending on the speed you choose. Your body responds as it would on a walk: muscles in your feet, legs, hips and core contract and relax to keep you balanced.
Because the platform moves you, the exercise feels easy. Just standing on it is a session. Holding a gentle pose, like a slight squat or a calf raise, asks a little more.
Four dials
What shapes a session.
Speed
Set from 1 to 80, or 3.4 to 15.5 movements per second. Start low and work up.
Amplitude
How far the platform travels: 1 to 10 mm. Feet close together feels softer; wider asks more of your body.
Time
Presets run 5, 10 or 12 minutes. Manual mode stops on its own after 10 minutes.
Movement
Stand, sit or follow the flip chart: lower body, core, upper body and gentle massage positions.

Listen to your body
Every body is different.
The brochure that comes with LifetimeVibe repeats one phrase more than any other: listen to your body. Find the foot position and speed that feel right, keep your knees soft, and build up a little at a time.
Whole body vibration is a form of exercise. Talk with your physician before starting, especially if you are pregnant, are managing a medical condition, or have an implant such as a pacemaker. The LifetimeVibe System does not heal, is not a medical device, and is not for use in the diagnosis, evaluation, treatment or prevention of any disease, physical ailment, or medical condition.
